The ENO logo was designed by Tuesday using visual artist Daniele Buetti's Flügelkreuz. Daniele Buetti (1955) is a Swiss visual artist. His work consists of installations and interventions, using photography, video, sound, drawing, sculpture, and digital design. In the late 1980s he reflected on everyday symbols and signs like circles, arrows and crosses. His Flügelkreuz [Winged Cross] is a universal, polysemic carrier of multiple, changeable meanings. The European Network of Observatories in the Field of Arts and Cultural Education expresses its gratitude for Daniele Buetti’s permission to ‘adopt’ the Flügelkreuz and use it for its logo.
